Mezuzah Hanging

Up

On April 7, 2002, The Burquest Jewish Community opened their doors to over 100 people to celebrate and witness the ceremonial mezuzah hangings on the doors of their new home and to honour Reesa and Bob Devlin who were instrumental in finding the congregation a building and arranging all the necessary renovations.
Mezuzot were placed on the inside and outside of the building. The opening of the building marks a milestone in the community's 27 year old history of meeting in people's basements, renting spaces and church halls.
