It is hard to imagine that the High Holy days are approaching. We are thrilled to announce that Rabbi Lindsey bat Joseph will be again our conducting the services. Please join us for services Erev Rosh Hashanah September 9, and Rosh Hashanah Days September 10 and 11, kiddish (pot luck lunch) on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, and a Tashlich service to follow at Rocky Point Pier. Erev Yom Kipper (Kol Nidre Service), is on September 18. Details ( see attached details) .

During this past year Burquest has continued monthly Ritual programing with Cantor Steve Levin leading both Friday night and Shabbat morning services and a communal Oneg after services.

We have had a wonderful providing many new and exciting programs. Having received a grant from the City of Coquitlam has allowed us to offer yoga, art and mah-jong. Also we now have a new (used) piano and plan on having musical eventing. In addition we were granted the Waldman Foundation grant which has allowed us to offer a lecture series. Continuing programs are The Hebrew/ Maccabi School, Coffee and Knishes for tots consisting of play, story time, singing, dancing and great treats .Ladies Discussion Night, the Community Kitchen, always a wonderful afternoon of music, singing, discussions and learning and celebrating the Holidays and naturally great food. Please make a point of attending our many activities and we hope to see you at our upcoming programs. Please feel free to contact any Board Member at any time to discuss ideas, suggestions and concerns.

For security reason tickets are required for the High Holidays priced at $150.00 per person/adult or family and seniors at $75.00. This cost covers the entire High Holy Day or any part and included an annual membership. Naturally no one will be turned away for financial reason.
