Service Description

Singing Group Do you like the wonderful melodies of Yiddish, Hebrew, English and Russian songs and want to study them in original versions? If so, welcome to the Burquest Singing Group, established sometime around 2005. We have rehearsals twice per month. We have a good time singing and socializing along with coffee, tea, and refreshments. Our singing group gives many performances at senior’s centers, nursing homes, and other community places. We also participate at local multicultural festivals and events – introducing Jewish culture, traditions, and customs. Cancellation Policy

Waiver By making RSVP/payment for this event, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the waiver and release of liability for the specified event. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the mentioned activities involves certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or property damage. I acknowledge and assume all such risks. Release and Waiver: I hereby release and discharge Burquest Jewish Community Association, its organizers, volunteers, and any participating vendors or sponsors from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during my attendance at the event. Responsibility for Minors: If I am bringing minors to the event, I affirm that I am the legal guardian and accept full responsibility for their safety and well-being during the event. Compliance with Rules: I agree to abide by all rules and guidelines set forth by the Event Organizer and any designated staff during the event. Food and Allergies: Please note that Burquest's food policy for this potluck dinner is strictly dairy-based. If you have any allergies, kindly inform the hosts. Media Release Form: By paying/registering for this program/event, you acknowledge the following terms: Your participation in the program/event may involve being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. The organizers are making reasonable efforts to accommodate those who do not wish to have their photos shared on social media. However, they cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled. The responsibility lies with you to communicate directly with the event photographer on-site if you do not wish to have your photo or the photo of your child(ren) used for promotional purposes. You understand and accept that the organizers are not liable if your photo is published despite your request, as they cannot follow every individual request. Refund Policy Your payment/registration serves as your agreement to the above terms. Full Refund: Requests for a full refund must be submitted at least one week (7 days) before the scheduled event or program 50% Refund: Requests for a 50% refund will be considered if submitted between four (4) to six (6) days before the scheduled event.
