About the event
With stories and pictures, Effron and Aryana will provide a snapshot of Jewish life on Bowen Island: how we ended up two with Bar Mitzvahs, two Bat Mitzvahs, a wedding, a multitude of Kabbalah Shabbats both in homes and on the beach, acquired a Torah, a Rosh Chodesh group, erev Rosh Hashanah dinners, Hanukkah parties, and recently, a public six foot Hanukkiah (Menorah) in the Cove, plus a yearly Passover Seder that attracts upwards of 60 people. Come hear and see how we have done it!
