About the event
Dear all Jewish community members,
It has been two months since our first meeting on April 7, 2024, at Burquest, where we got together to discuss and align on a specific time-sensitive political issue, the Port Moody Council vote of interest to the Jewish Community.
Many individuals expressed the value of a strategically aligned and organized approach to actions necessary within our cities that would impact the Jewish community and Jewish life. Many also expressed interest in continued dialogue with additional periodic meetings.

· Port Moody Councillor Agtarap / Engineered Bodies Gym - letter writing campaign
· Gen Z of Tomorrow (youth division of Free Palestine Tri-cities) campaign in libraries

· Meeting with Coquitlam Mayor
· Meeting with Port Moody Mayor
· Jewish festival at Rocky Point Park
· Universities (UBC /SFU) - updates on encampments and BDS activities

· Nelly Shin’s Federal Petition for Upholding Criminal Code – signing campaign
· Creation of an Information campaign to counter the misinformation and antisemitism
· United Way BC Anti-Racism Impact Grant
