We were treated to a very special book reading my author, activist,
gerontologist and grandmother, Gloria Levi, as she read from her latest
book, her creative memoir 'The Hotelkeeper's Daughter'.
Our small circle where able to ask her questions, while others in the
audience reminisced that they could relate so well to her well described
life experiences growing up in a tight knit community in Brooklyn and
then later moving to the Catskills. Gloria takes us with her to New York
in the late 1930's and 1940's.
It was a pleasure to hear from the author herself and the intimate
session was enjoyed by all of the attendees.
