Are you looking for a hands-on summer job that offers valuable experience and a chance to contribute to your community? The Burquest Jewish Community Association has an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual under 30 years of age to join as a Property Maintenance Technician for the summer.

What the Job Involves


As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks that ensure the community association’s facilities remain in excellent condition. Your duties will include:


  • Exterior painting to refresh and protect building surfaces

  • Power washing to clean walls, walkways, and outdoor furniture

  • Window and carpet cleaning to maintain a clean and inviting environment inside the buildings

  • Minor general repairs such as fixing door handles, patching small holes, and replacing light bulbs



Who Should Apply


This summer job is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:


  • Under 30 years of age

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident

  • Available to complete work before August 31, 2026

  • Comfortable with physical work and outdoor tasks

  • Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a small team


If you have previous experience in maintenance, painting, or cleaning, be sure to highlight that in your application. However, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important as experience.
